Project description

MANOS S.A. was established in 1934 and is the oldest producer and trader of edible vegetable oils in Greece. Since 2005 is located in Volos 2nd industrial area in its newly built facilities. The owned by the company field is of an area of 40.000 m2 as illustrated in Figure 1.
Its current activities include:

• The purchase and processing of cottonseed for the production of crude cotton oil and cottonseed cake.
• The processing of crude seed oils to neutralized (for Biodiesel use) and refined oils (for edible use).
• The production of Biodiesel from vegetable oils and Used Cooking Oils (UCO).
