Biomass Combustor

Based on this technology and using modular configuration as a combination of CFBs and Stirling power generators, small scale and flexible industrial power units of 0.5 MWel (Green Energy) can be built and operate efficiently directly connected to the grid.

EREDI Research & Development SA is professionally active in research and innovations, targeting the development of commercial systems, utilising fluidised bed reactors as the fundamental technology towards energy production. Currently, a pilot biomass combustion plant has been developed for the production of thermal energy and electrical power. This system configuration is accomplished utilising a series of tailor made CFB (circulating fluidised beds) in order to couple with a cluster of Stirling electrical power generators specially designed for this purpose. Based on this technology and following modular configuration as combination of CFBs and Stirling power generators, small scale and flexible industrial power units of 0.5 MWel (Green Energy) can be build and operate efficiently directly connected to the grid.

HEAT & ELECTRICITY

is what this biomass combustor can produce.

Here are some possible sources of biomass:

Burning biomass to produce electricity is considered to be GREEN ENERGY.

The amount of CO2 that is emitted during the combustion is the same as
the amount of CO2 that is absorbed by the plant/tree during its lifetime photosynthesis.
So, there is no net change in atmospheric CO2.
